Shirly Avedian has graduated from School of Architecture of the State University of Armenia with distinction. She is winner of several awards in Armenia, Russia
and France. She has held position of head of Iranian Historical Religious Monuments and has acted as liaison between UNESCO and Iranian religious
organizations. Her current position is Director of Archbishop Artak Manoukian Museum in Tehran. She also teaches at the Tehran University and Armenian
Studies Program of the Armenian Diocese of Tehran.
