Armenian traditions: Poon Paregentan

Armenian celebrate Poon Paregentan before the start of lent. In their ancesterial lands in Turkey and 1/10th of historic Armenia that's now present day Independant state, there were many traditions and celebrations that took place.

As the Christian world is now celebrating mardi gras, Armenians also do have their mardi gras called Poon Paregentan.
