Volunteers Needed for State Assembly Primaries

The Armenian Cause in New York has a new champion named Paul Saryian. Paul has a proven track of successfully advancing our issues in the halls of Congress. He spearheaded a campaign to defeat Armenian Genocide denier Michael McMahon during the 2010 Congressional Elections. Thanks to Paul’s tenacity, McMahon’s opponent, Michael Grimm prevailed. The now Congressman Grimm has since consistently supported Armenian Genocide recognition and other issues of importance to Armenian Americans.

Paul Saryian is now running for office himself, setting his sights on the 61st New York State Assembly District. He is currently gathering signatures on the Independence Party ticket, which will give him an excellent chance at winning a primary against the incumbent. The ANC of New York whole heartedly supports Paul’s candidacy and is looking for activists who could help Paul gather signatures over the next two weeks.

If you are registered with the independence party or are a notary, you can help Paul gather signatures in the north shore of Staten Island. Please contact Doug Geogerian at 646 468 9061 or at dgeogerian@yahoo.com if you are interested in helping with this critical initiative of the ANC of New York.
