Sunday School Lenten Fundraising
At the Armenian Church of the Holy Martyrs in Bayside, NY, during Lent, the Sunday School students will be focusing on “40 Ways for 40 Days” – forty creative ideas to engage in meaningful service and educational efforts in order to raise money for the hungry in America as well as for a FAR-run soup-kitchen in Berd, Armenia. The Sunday School invites all Holy Martyrs parishioners to join in the campaign by adopting a student or classroom, and donating $1 (or any amount) for each item completed. All monies will be collected on Palm Sunday and divided between the two assigned charities. To be paired with a student, please go to the Sunday School office on Sunday 10am-12pm or email lynnajamie@aol.com or elisea@armeniandiocese.org.
